Yeah. I feel kind of bad about this choice. But, there really wasn't anything else this year I'd consider a must-see. Granted, good movie season hasn't started yet, but I'm not all that excited for the films coming up. Maybe with the exception of Where the Wild Things Are and The Lovely Bones. I don't know. Maybe it's just too early. Although, I'm pretty sure I was hyped for Milk and Slumdog Millionaire this time last year. I COMPLETELY invented Slumdog Millionaire, by the way. And The Hangover. Just sayin.So what are your favorite movies of 2009 (so far)?

i fully agree with you on the hangover- it was bomb.com. i also enjoyed cloudy with a chance of meatballs- it is quite witty, especially backed by bill hader and andy samberg. umm, so yeah pretty much "the hangover" a milli times. oh, and HARRY FREAKIN POTTER! and 17 again...but that's just me :)
This was a tough one!! The Hangover was definitely up there! My favorite would have to be Transformers 2! And I gotta include Wolverine and Jennifers Body, I loved those ones too. Halloween 2 was also pretty awesome!
(500) Days of Summer is by far my FAVORITE movie of 2009. Followed by Inglourious Basterds.
BUT I shall be watching Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3D and I WILL love it. So that shall be my favorite movie. Yes, I am aware it already came out ages ago...but not in 3D so its new to me.
really, really disappointed in your choice. le hangover was funny but it was not art. again, my favorite of 2009 so far is 500 days. awesome. can not wait for lovely bones! we'll have to discuss this further.
500 days might be my fave also, i'm not sure...
but district 9 was surprisingly good. oh and obviously up was amazinggg.
