Quote Quote

Let's think about this:

"Things are never as bad as they seem to the pessimist and never as good as they seem to the optimist." - David Oreck

So, what does this mean? Are we disillusioned? How do we find what is real? Where is our truth? Questions! This quote kind of caught me off guard. I was in my room, fresh off a Nosferatu binge, enjoying some piano-rock courtesy of The Script (ch-check it out here. I guess they're a VH1 artist durkablah) checkin out what megarich CEOs don't have college degrees, when I stumbled on that little gem. After that I was sort of blue. I try to stay easygoing. I dabble in optimism. But, does that make my life a work of fiction? Talk about depressing!! I'm going to go image search Emile Hirsch to cheer myself up. But I guess I won't really feel that much better. :[

My Life's Aspiration

Hopefully, by the time I'm old and ready to die, I will be able to say my life was this interesting:

"Life isn't divided into genres. It's a horrifying, romantic, tragic, comical, science-fiction cowboy detective novel. You know, with a bit of pornography if you're lucky." - Alan Moore

Holla!

He Knows

Although this quote is probably contrived down to the last word, I have to agree.

"I can't get over that she is a huge pop icon of the world. People are acting like she's the new Britney Spears … I don't know even why this girl gets so much attention and press. I guess if you dress like a fool and have crazy, ridiculous haircuts, people start paying attention." -Spencer Pratt on Lady Gaga.

You go Spencer!

Oooo and then there's this:

"People are calling Lady GaGa the pop princess, what's Heidi - the pop queen?"

Love it.
